Siddhartha Leaving Business

After sometime spending time in my business, Siddhartha suddenly disappear from the town. i kept looking for him,thinking he was attacked by bandits.I don’t understand why anyone would leave the business. He was making so much money and was living better life. I was happy to have merchant like Siddhartha.After becoming rich, he had his own servant and his own house. many people came to him for the advice even i did when i had trouble with my business. His life was better than before.

Kamaswami-Business Man:

I am wealthy merchant who lives in town where Siddhartha comes after spending time in Samana. I gave him job as merchant. He lives at my house and he made profit. I was very pleased to know that he knew how to read and write. Whenever I had problem in business I talked to siddhartha he understood my problem and he listened very carefully. Siddhartha helped me solving my problems and he made my busines successful. after living at my house he became a wealthy person. kamaswami -the name of the meaning is master or owner.

Business- in village

For the business, Siddhartha had to visit the village to buy the harvest of rice. But the rice was sold to another business man. Instead of returning home, he stayed in village for several days and made new friends in village. He spent money and wasted my time. When he returned, I became angry at him and I asked why he didn’t come back. Then he told me that he made friends and nobody find out that he was Merchant. He wasn’t interested in business.

Living with Kamaswami

: Siddhartha started living at my house. He was given clothes and food and servant prepared bath for him. Now he was living wealthy person life. But he only ate once a day, he never ate meat or never drink wine. I told him about the trade and merchandise and showed him calculations. He learned a lot but speaks little. He handle my business and other merchant sent a writing letter and contracts to him. Later I found out that he knew little about rice and wool, shipping and trade. One day I told my friend that Siddhartha is not proper merchant and he will never be one. I knew that he wasn’t afraid of failure and he was not upset by the loss. He made profit in my business

Meeting With Siddhartha

One strange man comes to my house for job. He was sent by Kamala. I was told that he was Brahmin. He told me he came from samana and now he wants to work. Later on I asked him if what he have learned and what he can do. He replied “I can think, I can wait, and I can fast.” Then I asked him what the use of fast is. Then after little while I left the room and returned with scroll and I asked him if he can read and he started reading then I gave him piece of paper and pen to write down. I was very glad to know that he can write and read and I asked him to live in my house.
